A Tumble Creature goal for 2015

Some of my favorite sculptures  I made from 2014.

Every New Year's Eve I find it hard to believe that another year has come and gone. I always end up asking myself. Did I do what I needed to do? Was I the best person I could be? What could I have done differently? Was I kind? Was I happy?

This year has been a bit of a whirlwind for Tumble Creatures. So many things happened. So much growth was achieved. I was kept very busy with sculpting for sales and especially for custom orders.

Something I was really happy about was when I sculpted just for myself (usually sales and auction stuff) I felt like I really stretched my creative muscles to make each sculpt a bit better than the one before. And overall I felt really happy with what I created.

But this coming year I want to make a few changes. I want to take the creative push one step farther, and so I'll be doing a modified 'sculpt a day' challenge. When I was painting full time I saw the most growth, and also the most satisfaction when I started the practice of 'daily painting'. And I am really excited to be able to do that now with sculpting.

I have a plan in mind for how it's going to go down. I'll share it all with you tomorrow. :)

Love,
Crystal
